Get set for fun times as Sydney’s favourite popsters Cuthbert & the Night Walkers return with their second album, Mr Pickwick’s Camera. Due for release Friday 9 October through ABC Music/Universal, the lively septet will be celebrating its release with parties across the east coast throughout November including a special hometown launch in Sydney.

Catch Cuthbert & the Night Walkers performing their memorable melodies and heavenly backing vocals on Saturday 21 November at the Annandale Hotel in Sydney. As a special treat for Sydney fans, this show will feature a live horn section and rumour has it that the Cuthbert choir of yesteryear may also make a surprise visit on the night.

Featuring the glorious first single, ‘Pace Ourselves’, the rowdy ‘High Horse’, and the reflective ‘Clean House’, Mr Pickwick’s Camera is an unforgettable journey through the human condition. Engineered by Haima Marriott (Architecture in Helsinki), the album is largely the result of jamming sessions held in an old house in the Blue Mountains.

Mr Pickwick’s Camera follows Cuthbert’s 2007 debut, Love Needs Us, which came after the band was “Unearthed” by triple j. Forming in 2005, Cuthbert & the Night Walkers played their first gig at a Macquarie Uni band comp, which they lost. As front man Richie Cuthbert says, “In hindsight, we were probably really, really loose and very, very annoying. I have made my personal peace with those judges.”

Four years later, Cuthbert & the Night Walkers have nothing to prove as the exquisite pop of Mr Pickwick's Camera says it all. Consisting of four girls and three guys and an amazing assortment of instruments, there’s no Australian band quite like Cuthbert & the Night Walkers.

  1. All line-ups and times are subject to change without notice, and are beyond the Annandale Hotel’s control.
  2. Please choose carefully as tickets are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.
  3. You must be over 18 years of age to enter the venue (unless the show is listed as an all ages gig). You must be able to produce a current form of identification – drivers license, proof of age card or passport only.
  4. To claim your tickets you must have a copy of your confirmation email and/or ticket numbers plus the credit card you booked with or current photo identification. Tickets may only be claimed on the day of the gig from the time the doors open.
